House of Cedar

I have been building dream homes in my mind ever since I was little.  My most prominent dream home has an interior made entirely of cedar.  I love all things about cedar.  Maybe its my Finnish heritage, but ever since I was a baby I have been bathing in cedar saunas.  Any other method of bathing could not possibly compare.  The smell of warm cedar brings back such wonderful memories, mostly of me and my cousins piling into the wood-burning sauna like sardines, enduring the 225F temperature as long as we can before bursting out of the door, running like maniacs to a cold Lake Superior.  This still happens every time we are together.  I always think about how fortunate we are to have such an amazing place in our lives, our family cabin.  And to have grown up there, every summer, together.  Okay, enough reminiscing.  I would never limit cedar to just the sauna or bathroom, why not cover the walls, ceilings?  A house of cedar.  One day it will be mine.
