Mom

Today is my amazing mother's 50th birthday!  Now those of you who know my mom, might be a little surprised at her true age...she would disagree, but I think she has those super anti-aging genes, and I'm crossing my fingers that I have inherited them myself!  If she would ever admit to her youthful appearance, my mom would credit her mother, my wonderful Grandma Johnson...an anti-aging prodigy.  But who am I kidding...50 is the new 40, just as 30 is so the new 20, or at least that's what I've been telling Nate who's 30th birthday is quickly approaching!

So happy birthday mom! I hope you have the best 50th birthday anyone could ask for, and for you, I know that involves no cake, no party, no over-the-hill cards, just red wine and tequila...preferably not mixed.  I wish I was there with you to share a bottle.  I love you and miss you tons!
