Well, its that time again. I really hate goodbyes, I avoid them at all costs. As I write, I am sitting in the airport awaiting my flight to take me back to Edmonton. Its so bittersweet. On one hand I am so excited to see Nate again and all of our amazing friends back in Edmonton, but on the flip side, saying goodbye to all of my family isn't getting any easier. I am just very lucky to have two amazing places to call home.
I have made much wedding progress in these past few weeks...I blame that for my 7 day post strike. My mom and I went downstate to visit Andrea and check out the new company she works for, and what a successful weekend on several accounts. First of all, Andrea's office is pretty incredible, she fits right in with that company, it was really nice to be able to see where she's working now. Secondly, we took advantage of the prime shopping in that area, probably spent a little too much money between the three of us, but what do you expect? We are so deprived in the UP. And lastly, we made some awesome purchases for the reception...mostly decorations...also Andrea and I bought this great little tool, thank you Martha Stewart, for hand making paper hanging decorations. We've already made quite a few, its just so easy and there are so many possibilities, its going to be a lot of fun. I love DIY's. I will be sure to share as soon as I get settled.
Ahhh...great...my flight is delayed two hours. Wonderful. Guess its time for me to find a bar. Wish me luck. We'll talk soon.
Lets be serious...You aren't going to do much damage at the bar ;)
