Resume

My plans for today involve laying in bed watching missed episodes of True Blood and relaxing, yep I said it RELAXING.  The wonderful madness is over.  The first week of August was a doozie.  Liz, Brandon and Nate...oh my!  And this morning I dropped Nate off at the airport, which was a very interesting experience as this crazy lightening storm rolled in and not only delayed the flight, but left the airport without power...and the best part, set off the fire alarm for a resounding 45 minutes, I left feeling as though I spent the night in the club.  So, Nate made it safely to Edmonton and now I am left friendless, cousinless, fianceless, and even sisterless.

Andrea went downstate this past Thursday for a job interview with a company called Duffey Petrosky.  She interviewed on Friday morning and that afternoon, they offered her the job!!!  On Monday she will accept a position as Junior Art Director within their creative department!  You must understand the excitement in this...she had been looking rigorously for a career downstate for a while now, countless applications and interviews, not to mention the hours spent on the highway travelling back and fourth from the U.P to the L.P.  Nothing seemed to work out with the other jobs, but little did we know, all of this chaos for her was leading to this perfect position within a company that fits her perfectly.  The best part...the position was not even posted to the public, it was a fluke, she had applied for a different position within that company and the woman who reviewed her portfolio saw some serious potential in her and landed her resume on the desk of a higher-up, for a much better job!  So congratulations sister on your new career!  All of your hard work finally paid off!  So now she is moving to Farmington Hills, hence, I am sisterless.

I have so many pictures from this past week, I must be selective, I think I picked some good ones.

Hannah livin the dream.

Attended Liv's "Pitty Pincess" 2nd birthday party.

Played tourist with Nate at the Locks.

Margarita Monday with Desi and Tara.

Went "tubing" {grandma's beach style}...Nate did all the work.

Beat the heat in the lake.

Got some "pretty cool" surprise packages.

Really exciting, hehehe.

Golfed 18 with Nate, quite hilarious...I don't golf.
