Oh Right...The Wedding

I shouldn't forget one of the main reasons I began this blog...the wedding, oh right!  So here is a few-and far between wedding update.  And for the record, its not that I am not ridiculously excited about this wedding, but I am at a lull in decision making.  I suspect the craziness will begin 6 weeks before the wedding.  Those posts might be a little more interesting...heated. 

Ok, so far I have booked/sent deposits to DJ and photographer.  I have booked, and been in contact with since booking, the reception site.  Chair covers, dance floor, and ceremony seating rentals have been booked.  My talented sister is in charge of save the dates and invites.  I have almost finished our wedding website.  I have begun making the decorations...I know it seems early, but most of the decorations are handmade and can be stored/shipped easily, so why would I not start now? 

I am having issues finding the marriage officiant...in my small hometown I am limited, and 2 of the 5 are unavailable for our date.  The other three haven't returned my phone calls, ughh. 

I have blocked rooms at local hotels.  I have my dress and most of my accessories.  We are registering in January.  We have been shopping for our bands and have a strong contender for Nate, mine is a bit trickier but we have a few options.  Really, I could go on, but you get the idea...I'm on top of things.  And I'm really enjoying creative control.  Who wouldn't?  Here are some images of hair and accessories I am really into right now.
