Part Deux

This is a few days late, but to be honest I have been in this "wedding zone" lately and it seems every time I'm in front of my computer, I'm checking out more and more ideas for the reception.  It got to the point where I didn't touch my laptop for an entire day, apart from using it to watch a few Harry Potter movies...yep we're dweebs, because I was so tired of being on the internetSo, now that I've stepped back into reality, I'm ready to blog.

Friday night was the much anticipated "Name That Tune" rematch.  We brought a few reinforcements with us this time.  We convinced the Ible couplet to offer their musical wisdom and Nate's parents were intrigued and wanted to see what they could bring to the table so they came along too.  We had our all star team of six and decided we would call ourselves "the flippy floppys"...team "Bad Ass" was already taken.  Let me just say, from the get-go, these other teams didn't stand a chance. Craig brought his A-game that night and single-handedly carried our team.  At one point we were in a three way tie for second, but that didn't last long.  Naturally, we ended up winning, ok so we shared first place with a couple who attend Name That Tune Fridays at Billy Buds religiously and know every song on the playlist, so I like to think they don't count.

What exactly did we win you ask?  $12 in Billy Buds Bucks.  Yup, pretty ecstatic, photos of our excitement below.  And to top it all off, our host and waitress remembered us as Team Edward from a few Fridays before.  When they realized the exciting news of our engagement we were presented with a "muff dive" and "blow job" on the house to celebrate the newly engaged couple, sorry grandparents if you are reading this, I promise it's just silly bar talk.  I've included some photos of the celebration for your viewing pleasure.  None of us can exactly remember how Chuck Norris entered into our minds that night, nonetheless, he gets an honorable mention for the evening and in his honor we posed a pretty one for him.  Best of all,  we can finally return to Billy Buds with bragging rights as reigning champs.  Thanks Team Flippy Floppys!
