Showered

Last weekend my future mother-in-law threw a bridal shower in my honor.  I never imagined I would have a shower so it was a most welcomed surprise when she told me she would love to host one.  She kept every little detail a secret and worked diligently and tirelessly to plan, prep and execute.  A few months ago I introduced her to Pinterest, it was right up her alley, I knew she'd love it.  She scoured pins for months leading up to the celebration and pulled of an amazing shower that would sweep Pinterest off her feet.  My amazing friend Kathy offered her home for the event and devised a sneaky plan to have my best friend Desi come up to Edmonton and surprise me.  It worked.  The party was a huge success and I am truly grateful for Vera, Kathy, Desi and all the beautiful ladies in attendance.  Thanks a million!

It was very special.  As it turns out, my mom and my sister are planning another bridal shower for me in Michigan!  Again, I never thought I could have even one shower, now I get two!  I can't wait to get home and begin the celebrations.  An entire month of celebrating with the people I care about the most.  Doesn't get any better than that.  Nine more days!
