The remaining two weeks of summer I have left will be spent working. Its not all bad now that everyone has gone home for the summer, I might as well be making a bit of spending money. This week however, I have one "day off", which is today, which has been spent tying up any loose ends I might have before I head back to Edmonton, which has proven to eat up my entire day so far. And I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer here, but sunshine has been plentiful in this week's forecast, apart from today...naturally. Now don't get me wrong, I actually love thunderstorms and this one's a doozie, but I happen to love the beach a little more. And I would have greatly enjoyed tying up my loose ends while sitting on the beach...with a beverage. Not to worry though, the sun resumes tomorrow as does my work schedule.
Now for the positive, my flight is booked and I'll be back in Edmonton on September 1st! Dreading the price, I was nervous to book my flight. When Nate and I started looking, the prices were through the roof. I finally bit the proverbial bullet and grabbed my credit card to book the damn thing, when low and behold...the price dropped over a hundred dollars! That never happens, the prices always go up. We were pretty happy about that. And I like it so much better when Nate and I are in the same city. It will also be nice to get back into a routine again. We have lots to look forward to...house hunting, wedding planning, and winter...wait...did I just say that?
